Tooth Colored Fillings

For the past 20 years we have been restoring teeth with tooth colored (composite) fillings. They are used in place of silver fillings (amalgam), to restore a decayed tooth. Composites are a more pleasing cosmetic alternative and tend to be more supportive of the remaining tooth structure. Because they have their limitations and are more technically difficult to place than silver fillings, they are a chosen with size and function in mind.
