Marcia, Registered Dental Hygienist
I joined Penn’s Commons Dental Group in 1981 and worked with Dr. Schmoyer for 2 ½ years as his dental assistant. I then decided to further my education by pursuing a Bachelor’s Degree in dental hygiene from Thomas Jefferson University. After graduation in 1985, I worked as a dental hygienist in Philadelphia before deciding to return to PCDG in 1987.
PCDG provides outstanding dental care where the camaraderie of the staff and their genuine concern can be felt by each patient. Having worked here for many years, I pride myself in having built close relationships with my patients. They are friends and in many ways, like family to me and the entire staff.
On a personal note, I have lived most of my life in Berks County. I am married to my wonderful husband Hunter and we have a beautiful daughter Kirsten.
Janet, Registered Dental Hygienist
Upon graduation from Onondaga Community College in Syracuse, New York in June of 1979, I answered an employment ad for a dental hygienist for Dr. Schmoyer and I became his first hygienist when our office was located on 10th Street in Reading. Several years later we relocated to Penn Street in Reading and later to our present location in Wyomissing.
I have taken a few breaks during my employment career with Penn’s Commons, but I have always returned. During those breaks, I found that there is no other dental office more competent or staff better to work with every day. Everyone strives to provide the highest level of care for our patients. I enjoy my long term relationships with our patients and I look forward to my day and hearing about their lives.
Please come and see for yourself. Allow us to take care of all your dental needs.
Sheri, Registered Dental Hygienist
My career with Penn’s Commons Dental Group began in 2004. After spending several years after graduation looking for a dental practice that shared the values and commitment to patient care that I had, I finally found my “home” with PCDG. Dr. Schmoyer and Dr. Greenlee’s dedication to the practice and individualized treatment for their patients sets Penn’s Commons Dental Group apart. I continue to learn from my experiences every day.
In addition to my hands on learning, we attend many continuing education seminars always bringing back new information and technology to the entire staff. We continue to grow with current information to improve our patient care.
I graduated from Pennsylvania College of Technology in May 1997 and began my dental hygiene career in Lebanon County. After getting married, I moved to Berks County and began working part-time with PCDG. My part-time schedule allows me time with my two children Meredith and Collin while maintaining my career as a dental hygienist.
Megan, Registered Dental Hygienist
I have been a practicing dental hygienist in Berks County since 1999. After graduating from the Harcum College Dental Hygiene Program and completing my clinical training at the University of Pennsylvania School of Dental Medicine, I worked in several area dental practices. I joined the Penn’s Commons team in 2012 and have never been happier with my career as a hygienist.
It is so refreshing to work with quality dentists and staff that are passionate about their craft and continue to excel in advancements in the field of dentistry.
In addition to providing patient care, I am the coordinator of our Teddy Bear Program that provides youngsters with introductory tours of the office to prepare them for future dental visits. Outside of the office, you can find me spending time with my amazing husband, Chris and our two energetic children, Mallory and Sawyer. In my spare time, I enjoy practicing yoga.
